Henry Estate Pinot Noir 2003 (Oregon) [Jun. 19th, 2006|05:15 am]

I think it's fabulous. Don noticed it changing after it breathed, said it tasted acidic at first. It tastes mature and pleasant, dry and delicious. Every taste is a bit different as time passes. I wanted something oaky and not too fruity, and Henry's Pinot Noir fits my mood perfectly.

Note: The founder of the winery, Scott Henry, was an aerospace engineer who developed a trellising technique (the Scott Henry Vertical Trellis) which is used in vineyards around the world.
