Rio Santos Torrontes 2003 (Argentina) [Dec. 25th, 2004|10:16 pm]
[Tags|, ]

This very pale, slightly green colored Torrontes claims on the label to possess "the succulent flavor of green grapes and tangerines, and an exotic hint of gingery spice."

I found the aroma to be not unlike cinnamon and green apples, with a softly crisp and dry flavor. Subtle lemon flavors are present.

This is a refreshing wine that recalls the scent of honeysuckle on a spring breeze. I'll give it 17 out of 20.
