Freedom Ridge Viognier 2003 (California)

This very pale Viognier smells like orange peels and preserved fruit, but tastes like flowers. In fact, that perfumey taste is the thing I usually dislike in white wines (Tomi no Oka and Château Phanny aside), but this one is okay. So-so. Halfway decent.

It's probably me, not the wine. My loss, I'm sure.
